Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Volunteer Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on React to join our tech team. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain practical experience and build their portfolio in a community-driven environment. You’ll work on real projects, starting with improving and building our websites.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Product Owner and report directly to the CTO

Develop and maintain front-end features using React

Support back-end tasks when needed (Node.js, APIs, or similar stacks)

Participate in team meetings, sprint planning, and reviews

Contribute to clean, efficient, and well-documented code

Troubleshoot and debug as needed

Learn and grow within a team that values communication, feedback, and continuous improvement

Requirements

Familiarity with React.js (projects or coursework; please share samples if available)

Basic understanding of full stack development (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, APIs, database basics)

Strong willingness to learn and take initiative

Availability of approximately 15 hours per week

Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Bonus if you have:

Worked on React projects before (personal, academic, or professional)

Experience with back-end tools or frameworks (Node.js, Express, etc.)

A GitHub or portfolio to showcase your work
